Jon Kean
Education Leader and Film Maker
Jon is a dedicated public servant and past president of the Board of Education. Prior to joining the board in 2016, Jon was vice chair of the District's Financial Oversight Committe and served as PTA President at Roosevelt Elementary and Lincoln Middle Schools. He has provided strong governance concerning the district’s finances while supporting the Superintendent to pursue and achieve the goals of the district. One of this top priorities is to maintain a sound budget with healthy reserves and a practical reserves policy. He holds continuing to let student engagement drive unique educational pathways and building upon our successes is an additional priority. Jon is also dedicated to exploring the construction of workforce housing for a portion of District employees.
